Once in a while, life nudges a bit to make sure we are giving value to the time and life itself. A few days are so ambitious, a few days are depressing, a few days are getting things done, a few days are hard to just pull yourself up, and a few days just passing by . But I am thankful for all the days. Reading motivational quotes and stories, watching motivational and feel-good movies inspires us a lot. However, that inspiration lasts for a while. But back to reality, why am I spending too much money? Why can’t I go on vacation? Why can’t I get my dream job? Why can’t I have my dream life? But how do we achieve them? After attempting several times, we might reach somewhere, but not to the mark. This makes me think: am I aiming for or wishing for too much? I don’t want to be a medal-winning athlete or overnight celebrity. My goals or ambitions are attainable, and by putting in efforts and working hard, I can achieve them. Yet I might not achieve all the goals. A few quotes state that you should never quit until you reach your goal. A few quotes state it’s ok to quit; just be aware of where to stop. Like a person who wants to be a doctor but doesn’t succeed. He or she later became a famous author. How do I know when or where to stop? How do you know to just do what you are doing until your dreams are fulfilled? Whether one is successful or not, I feel this thought process is important to grow, to enjoy life, and to be grateful and thankful for what we have.
