Being thankful for the small things in life is a practice I’ve slowly cultivated. From avoiding a car crash to cherishing beautiful moments, I find gratitude in it all. The places I’ve visited, the activities I’ve experienced, and the people who have touched my life—all of them contribute to my sense of thankfulness.
Life’s decisions can seem crazy and clueless at first, but they often lead to valuable lessons and better experiences . Even when things don’t turn out as expected, there’s wisdom to be gained. So, I embrace gratitude for both the highs and lows.
Spiritual leaders often emphasize gratitude for each day, as life itself is not a guarantee. When I struggle to open my eyes in the morning, I remind myself to be thankful for life and the promise of a new day. It’s like a burst of energy to kick-start my journey.
Remember, gratitude isn’t just about the big moments; it’s also about appreciating the lessons you learn, experiences you gain through tough times and high times and sometime just for existing.
